Our childrens’ future looks different thanks to Joe Biden’s presidency.

Across northwest Georgia, families are struggling as the cost of groceries, rent, and more have skyrocketed thanks to Joe Biden and the Democrats’ policies. While President Trump has done an excellent job flattening the curve, there’s still more work to be done. That’s why I want to represent you in Congress, so our children and grandchildren – who are struggling to find the path to achieving the American dream once again – have a voice in Washington. My dad worked in the parts department at Kroger's, and my mom stayed at home, raising me. They got by. They were able to put a roof over our head, food on the table, and raise their family.

At 11, I began working at my aunt and uncle’s restaurant in Dallas, where I earned enough money bussing tables and washing dishes to buy my first car at 14. At 19, I would start my own business picking up trash on Friday afternoon, ultimately leading me to build a stable future for myself, my wife, and our children. That hope doesn’t exist for our children today.

The sad reality is that life in America is just not affordable anymore. When our children sit down at their kitchen table, they’re forced to contend with prices that continue to rise higher and higher. Groceries are 25 percent higher today than they were four years ago when Joe Biden first took office. The average family is spending an extra $1,500 a month on groceries than they were in 2021. “More than double the roughly 10% cumulative inflation seen in the five years before that,” according to CNBC. In 2024, we learned that electricity prices skyrocketed almost 30 percent in the last three years of Joe Biden's presidency.

That’s not even the worst of it. Our parents bought their first house in their 20’s. At the time, it was the average age of the first-time home buyer. When I was getting ready to buy my first house, the average age of a new home buyer was in their 30’s. Now, as my children grow older and start their lives, the economy has again changed the rules; first-time home buyers are now, on average, 40 years old. For our children, it will be the single biggest financial asset they will ever have, and they have to wait half their lives to do it. Under Joe Biden and the Democrats’ agenda, our country is no longer affordable for our kids and grandkids. Now, President Trump has to clean that mess up – and he needs help to do it.

I want to go to Washington to be an ally to President Trump as he looks to undo the disastrous policies set in place by Joe Biden and the Democrats. We know that President Trump has done a lot of work to secure our southern border, but he needs help to stop the flow of illegal drugs into our country. I want to make sure that folks in northwest Georgia are safe from drug traffickers looking to hurt Americans. Now more than ever, President Trump needs support to protect the men and women in blue, who put their lives on the line every single day to protect our families. As a Paulding County Commissioner, I made sure our law enforcement officers had the resources they needed to protect us. We also need a voice in Washington who will stand up for parents’ rights, ensuring they have a say in their child’s education. More importantly, we need someone who will stand up to the far-left and put an end to the push to give boys a place in girls' sports, bathrooms, and locker rooms once and for all.

Folks in northwest Georgia need a representative who not only sees their struggles but also understands them. I am the district. I was born and raised in Paulding County. I worked at the family restaurant in Dallas, built my company from the ground up in the district, got married, and raised a family here too. If there’s anyone who can take our needs to Washington, work with President Trump, and bring back real results for folks here at home, it’s me; that’s why I’m running to be your next congressman.
