Moms for Liberty-endorsed school board candidates won or advanced in eleven of fifteen races across Florida in Tuesday's primary election, delivering a decisive night for parental rights in the movement's home state.

Seven endorsed candidates won their races outright. Four more advanced to the general election. In Clay County, all three Moms for Liberty-endorsed candidates, Ashley Hutchings Gilhousen, Michele Hanson, and Erin Skipper, won outright. In Collier County, Timothy Moshier and Jeff Donaldson both won. In Lee County, Jada Langford-Fleming won her race and Tony Beougher advanced.

In Brevard County, home of Moms for Liberty co-founder Tina Descovich, all three endorsed candidates won or advanced: Megan Wright won her District 1 race outright, while Gene Trent and Tammy Dennis both advanced.

The results come after a widely circulated article weeks ago declared the organization a "minor player" in Florida with "lackluster influence," singling out those same three Brevard candidates as evidence the movement had lost its footing. All three won or advanced.

"Every couple of years someone in the media writes our obituary, and every couple of years parents show up and prove them wrong," said Tina Descovich, CEO and co-founder of Moms for Liberty. "Eleven of our fifteen endorsed candidates won or advanced last night. Three of three in Brevard. All three in Clay County. These are moms and dads and neighbors who knocked doors and made calls and won, and no consultant or professor quoted in a newspaper gets to tell them they don't exist. School boards are ground zero in the fight for parental rights, and last night Florida parents made that clear."

The organization's endorsements are driven entirely by its local chapters, not by national staff. Chapter volunteers vet candidates, host candidate forums, speak at community events, and knock doors in hundred-degree Florida heat.

"Our chapters do the majority of the work, and it isn't measured in dollars. It's measured in action," Descovich said. "You cannot buy what our moms do on a Saturday morning in August."

Descovich also pushed back on coverage that measured the organization's commitment by looking at spending reports in early summer.

"We don't spread our resources thin trying to win a news cycle in May. We target the audience that's actually voting, when they're actually voting," Descovich said. "Unlike statewide candidates with millions to burn on name recognition, we have to be strategic. So we concentrate our resources during the early vote window, when persuasion actually sticks. Reporters kept checking the scoreboard at halftime and announcing the game was over."

Moms for Liberty endorsed fifteen candidates across Bay, Brevard, Clay, Collier, Lee, and St. Lucie counties, with active investment in the vast majority of those races. Moms for Liberty is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization. Moms for Liberty is dedicated to fighting for the survival of America by unifying, educating and empowering parents to defend their parental rights at all levels of government.
